This is a beautiful little rake piece. It's been glaze with a white crackle glaze, decorated using a resist technique. Any areas that are left unglazed turn black during the firing process. there has been a handle added made of reed and bamboo canning.
This type of work of porous and therefore should not be used to hold water. Treat it like you'd treat turned wood. It's perfect for holding a dried flower arrangement, or better yet a decorative piece of art all by itself. The pot itself measures approx. 4.5"t x 4.5"w, with the handle it is about 9.5"t
