Here is a dynamic yet simple stoneware tray. Cool and subtle flame path markings. These are a lot of fun to make and are meant to reflect the geological nature of the material. There is no glaze added to this piece other than the natural ash glaze accumulation from the firing process.
The tray measures roughly 8"t x 8"w
Please be aware that this work is fired in a wood kiln and do to the nature of the process will have small imperfections, rough areas or other characteristics which are different from what you might expect from store bought ceramics. It's part of the beauty. I recommend taking special care of these works by hand washing and treating them with attention and respect.
